I've had some scratches placed on mine since it is still in use on the farm and when I decided to do the touch ups this summer I found out what a difference a few years worth of wear can make. Go ahead and use the alluminum but get ready for some fading. I'd still use it cause I can get the stuff from wal-mart for .94 rather than $6.00.
