You don't want the overflowing acid getting on anything, especially the concrete floor!
Slow charge it until it will settle in around 12.7 volts off the charger.
You may want to remove some of the excess electrolyte with a turkey baster. If it is put in service overfilled it will continue to spill acid, corrode the tray and everything else it can get on. I like to run them a little below the rings. As long as the plates are covered it will be good. Trying to run one all the way up to the indicator rings, especially an off road application, will result in spilling and a wet top, corroding the cables, collecting dirt.
