I bought a Ford F-350 dually cab and chassis in Manchester IA on Tuesday night. Drove it up to Friendship WI yesterday morning and had a Bradford flatbed installed. My wife followed with the kids and we took them to a water park in Wisconsin Dells for the day while the box was being installed. Guy also had a lil’ F145 so I bought it and had him put it on the bed. Now comes the brain fart. I didn’t think to bring my good heavy straps. All I had was two chintzy 1” straps, a better 1.5” strap and a log chain in the half ton. Guy sold me a binder for 10 bucks, so the chain is doing all the work and the straps are for show.
Pretty sure you could flip my pickup upside down and shake it and that plow wouldn’t come off, but I’m still mad I forgot my stinkin’ straps!
This 6.7 is an unbelievably powerful engine. I hesitated a long time in replacing my 7.3. Now I’m gonna strip my 99 F350 and junk it.
