Thanks for the help. I don't see any obvious place where the strap might have been attatched. There are permanent rivet heads in the vicinity and also special mounting screws with ratchet type heads that are not meant to be removed (I've seen those on bathroom partition mounts but never anywhere else). Anyways, would I be able to connect to either of the two screws that hold the point assembly down to the base of the mag? And one other question, why is there a ground strap and not simply a wire? Could I use a wire when I get this straightened out or should I pick up a strap at a mag shop (or even make one)?
