For all of us who drive pre '74-'75 tractors, its NOT a problem. Was not a problem, never was a problem, and will NEVER be a problem. There are NO failures. Lets face it. We have been using this 303 equivalent oil since 1974 when the whale oil was banned. Thats 45 years of using that horrible oil and still no problems... 45 years now. Did I say we have been using this oil for 45 years since the whale oil was banned?? Do you think that problems would show up in 45 years? Hey, how many years has it been since 303 was changed?? OH,, Thats been 45 years now.
For all of you who drive post '74 tractors, yes, you need the better stuff. Higher pressures, higher temperatures, tighter tolerances, yada yada yada.
