I have used some of the cheapest oils to the most expensive oils. I have had only bad luck with: "wolf's head" and "texaco". The wolf's head started making my "check engine light" come on all the time and I kept having to change PVC valves. The Texaco oil problems were a case sold to me via a ex-co-worker who didn't like me and I fired later. He didn't bother to tell anyone that thier had been a recal on this specific oil. It had a tendacany to foam up and the oil pump then wouldn't PUMP IT. Needless to say I rebuilt my first engine when I was but 15 years old, while working on a 1975 Plymouth Valiant with a slant six engine.
