Sounds like you are looking for something in the "utility" line, but need some umph for a heavy hay wagon. From Ford, an 8N is probably too small for the hay wagon, so I'd look for something in the 800 or 900 series (i.e., Work Master and Power Master). IH/Farmall probably offers the widest choice in older utilities. A 300 or (better yet) 350 should suffice. For something newer, the 454/464/474/484 would work. Another utility of about this size would be the Oliver 550. Good strong machine and it had a long production run.
