Your 8N has neither live pto nor live hydraulics. If you engage the pto lever, both the pto and the hydraulics will work when you let out the clutch. When you depress the clutch, both will stop: However, if you are using a bush hog, you will need a over-run clutch on the pto shaft to keep the momentum from the mower from pushing you forward.
