Steve it is from the front cover of a 1967 Datsun transmission that I removed in order to replace the input shaft seal. The screws were not tight when I removed the cover. For one source I came up with about twelve but that doesn't seem possible. From another I came up with 33 but that was assuming a semi- hardened screw. 18 to 24 is right in the range that I was being led to. Thanks.
