I am trying to identify the possible ways a bearing roller ended up in the drain plug when changing the gear oil, think I've found it. The trans needs split to fix the noise but I wanted to find the roller source as I go, not after reassembly.
The lower steering shaft rollers were gone when I took it apart, several below the gear. The rest are obviously in the trans housing. Thanks Steve.
