Make sure the points are dry. On this tractor, there is a plastic cap under the rotor that covers the points. In order to remove this cap, you have to first remove a small clip on the distributor shaft. Be careful, because the clip is likely to fly off or break. If you lose or break the clip, your New Holland dealer will have plenty of replacements on hand. Once the points are dry, make certain that they are clean and are opening and closing properly. When you're done, you should be getting a spark.
