It might be in the injection pump, but there's more to check first as the CAV DPA injection pump does not have the weight retainer ring that fails like Roosa/Stanadyne pumps have. The supply pump must have good working check valves inside, and must have 4-5 PSI through the filters to injection pump. There's also a constant bleed orifice fitting on top of one of the filters, may be a straight fitting or banjo bolt, with a small bleed hole. Make sure it's open, it's job is to bleed any trapped air out of the filter base BEFORE air can get to injection pump, causing engine shut down. Also, if NAPA/WIX filters are used MAKE SURE the filter top outer groove next to the sealing lip is OPEN, that's the filter inlet. If blocked with an extra O ring, fuel flow is restricted, or stopped entirely. I've made lots of service calls to correct that common mistake. Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
