Stay with it if you do it enoufh you will not need to set it on blocks you will learn to drive into the trench and set it up... On new ground I run a field cultivator thru it first to break up the hard pan and find big rocks, stumps and axles that were drove into the ground to tie up their dog...
I ran down the street to look at a plot of new ground for a gal she wanted it plowed I ask if anything was out there like stumps and what have they used it for in the past she said all good to go...
On the second round with a field cultivator I saw a 30 ft chain stretched out I got off and traced the chain back to a axle drove in the ground. She said yes they had a dog tied up to it at one time if I had hit it with my bottom plow it would of tore it up :evil:
