The first tractors with live PTO were the Hart-Parr very early on - before anyone knew what PTO was so it didn't catch. Oliver was the first to have live PTO on their 66/77/88 models in 1948 or 49. IH was soon to follow with the Super M in 1952. John Deere had live PTO in 1952 also with their number series. Live hydralics were available earlier, usually by a pump driven off the cam or distributor of the engine. So the earliest smaller tractors would include the IH and John Deere number series tractors (IH 200, 300 and JD 40, 50) Or the Oliver 66/77 series. Hope this helps Steven
