Looks like Tenderlean is still
in business. You start the
holsteins at weening and gave
them all the whole corn mixed
with those pellets and no hay
and steers got to 11-1200lbs
in 12 months. It's supposed to
be profitable. Dad did it some
and liked it for making money,
but we didn't like the meat.
You feed whole corn because
they never learned to eat
without chewing so no grinding
was necessary. I wonder how
that pencils out today.
