What you have to lose is to plug up a heater core and radiator in my opinion. I have replaced enough of them from having had stop leak used. In most cases, it didn't stop the leak anyways. Head gaskets leak because either the head or the block is no longer flat as it should be or the gasket itself has deteriorated and failed. Nothing in a can is going to resurface the head, the block, or put back gasket material. In many cases causing problems elsewhere.
There is only one right way to fix it, and it has nothing to do with goop in a can.
