Seal restorer works by softing a seal that is hardened by age or other factors if a seal is worn out it does little good, I had an automatic trans that leaked at the front seal many years ago and I put seal restorer in it, it didn't work so I put some more in, it still didn't work so I told napa I wanted my money back he said sure, but please try another can FREE if it doesen't work I'll refund your money gladly. Guess what , it worked, and for 50,000 miles later till I sold the ol' Pontiac it was a 1960 so I guess a little is good and a lot is better My $.02 worth
