JDSeller, you got that right. We took on Mahindra some years back. They never paid anywhere near the total amount on any warranty claim we submitted. Once, our mechanic rode with their regional service manager, on a warranty service call for a recurring problem. They were gone for almost eight hours, and the warranty paid one hour. Our shop rate was $80 per hour, they paid $10. That means we were in the hole $630 for just that one claim. Often they wouldn't even pay dealer cost on parts purchased from them. State law here requires them to pay full labor rate, full hours billed (not flat rate), and 115% of dealer cost on parts. The "Indian" management said they knew this, and would "work on it!" We finally figured out how to handle the problem! We gave them 3 days to get there equipment off of our lot! They still owe us about $10-12,000 in unpaid claims! We'll probably never see a dime!
