moline 670 diesel

i, I really am stumped as to get my injection pump to prime , my dad had this tractor at his place , since his illness I thought I would go over and try to rejuvinate or use some of his old molines, although I tried checking the metering lever inside the pump.,it's moving. and fuel is coming up inside that compartment , I am just unsur what to do, if any one has any knowledge in this I really could use some help, It has not been run in a couple of years, Thank Mark L.
