I use oven cleaner from the dollar store and the walmart engine degreaser. Spray oven cleaner on first let it soak then the foamy degreaser. It seems to be a good combo. After that sits a while I just hose it off and repeat when the water dries some. I have cleaned many many really dirty tractors and have never used a power washer at all. Just a garden hose, flat screw driver and thin putty knife. The oven cleaner is $1 a can and the degreaser is .78 cents at WM. About 6 of each usually does it.
