56.9 cents a litre for the knock & ping gas just east of Toronto. Finally had a frost last weekend & the leaves are finally coming down. Corn silage that normally cut the last week of August to 1st week of Sept stayed green & growing into mid Sept depending on the days to maturity. Beans took a 2nd growth after the late Aug rains. Fields were 1/2 green/growing & 1/2 dead & dried until the frost. Supposed to be rain on and off for a week with lows in 40's & highs in 60's. Drought in June,July & Aug, now the combine may have to swim or sit in the shed.
