Fifteen years ago I purchased a 154 Leyland Tractor. I know little about tractors and this was a gamble for me. The tractor had 400 hours on it and has served me well over the years. Does anyone know what the life expectancy of this model tractor is. The machine now has almost 2000 hours, most of the work has been light duty such as snow, dirt, and firewood removal. I also have a growing concern of part availability. Is anyone aware of a parts supplier in Michigan that still deals in Leyland equipment? Also most of the electronic components are a Lucas brand. Is there some type of conversion chart between British Cars and Leyland Tractors? I would appreciate any information on Leyland tractors including history. Is any form of this tractor still being made?
