GMC didn't change styling much if at all to determine model years on their trucks. I'll assume that truck is too new to still have a Big Block V-6, and that's too bad. If it has an in-line 6, I hope for your sake it's a 292, the 250 was also available. My guess with the 5+2 trans it may have a 327 if it's old enough, most likely a 350 truck engine, and slim chance it has a 366 big block truck engine.
From posts on other forums I hope it has the 350. So many 350's were built parts are still available. 366 parts just don't exist anymore.
Summer of 1982 I helped my buddy harvest potatoes, drove truck hauling in. Had a pair of '66 or '67 C65's, one with 292-6 and 5+2, other had 350 & 5+2, and a Ford 750 with 6V-53 Detroit diesel and 5+2. The 350 powered truck was fastest loaded on the road, and O-K to load, and burned the most gas in a day. The 292 powered truck was second fastest loaded, by far easiest to match speed with the tractor powered harvester. The Ford was just a noisey nasty truck to drive. No skipping gears when loaded, could run thru transmission in low side of axle then shift to high when in 5th. Could run 2-3 days on a tank of fuel.
Township road commissioner I worked for had a '67 and '74 C-65's, both 366 & 5+2's. '67 geared to run about 58 mph, the '74 geared to run about 67 mph. I was the only driver the second year I worked there, the '74 was brand new that year. Put a lot of miles on that truck. Couple years later the township bought a second dump truck, a C70 tandem with 427 & 5+2. Never even got to sit in that truck.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
