My 1971 4320 has a Factory Hinson Cab with ROPS. I am strongly thinking about removing it and making it a fender tractor.
My question is the ROPS, it is bolted to the axles and bolted at the very top to the cab sheet metal. I am concerned that if I remove the ROPS as part of the cab, that is remove the axle bolts and leave it bolted at the top when I go to lift the cab off I will bend the cab sheet metal.
Yet, if I unbolt the ROPS just at the top at the cab sheet metal I will have to lift that cab up much higher than I am capable to get the cab off.
I have not looked close enough yet to see if I can remove the ROPS with the cab still in place and then remove the cab. Obviously I will remove any doors/window/sheet metal I can remove before I go to lift the main cab structure.f
