I bought a 660 Diesel for cheap with a stuck engine and would like to get it running. The guy said it had run about 5 years ago and has been sitting outside. It shouldn't be stuck too bad I thought, but it won't bust loose by pulling it. I drained about 3 gallons of water from the crankcase when I got it home, then about 3 gallons of oil came out. I assume the water would have pushed the oil up to the bottoms of the pistons, etc. I put 3 gallons of diesel in and 3 gallons shouldn't get up to the cylinders or the crankshaft. It's soaking with the crankcase and intake and exhaust manifolds full of diesel right now. Any advice on a better way to do it? I would like to avoid taking it apart yet. Thanks Steven
