If You move the lever, & the tractor is new; it might void a warranty. Companies are looking to void any warranty possible nowadays.
Had an argument with a Nissan dealer this week. 20K mile service time; but I told them "I" will replace the fuel filters because I will not pay $360 when I can buy the filters for $40, & saw a YouTube video showing I could do it in maybe 20 minutes! They told me There is no evidence when You do it yourself that it was done "ON TIME" which is every 10,000 miles, & would void the warranty!!! I started yelling so everybody, about 8 people could hear me say. I know better, that the Federal GMNT requires they keep the standard warranty on the vehicle, & I wont hear another word about, or they can just give me back the key, & I would go to another dealer.
But any modification (in their eyes) is justification to try & avoid paying for the warranty!
