Thanks to ACG and CN 1660 for posting the pictures of Drilling Oats. I really enjoyed the pictures. I did some Oats planting but that was usually my Dad's job. Like SV I think he liked the squeaking of the disks as he planted and the somewhat peacefulness that brought to him.
Regarding ACG's response to my question: yes, I find it sad many of these tractor companies got gobbled up and the lineage of their designs were lost. I guess I don't know what parts of the Case designs carried on and what parts got dropped. I felt the Massey Harris tractors, although dated, were better than the Massey Fergusons. But the Ferguson designs won out.
So for centering a plow to the center of a tractor, is it half the plow width or some other formula that moves it to right of center a quarter or third of a bottom. A gentleman on here mentioned that once and I never followed up with him.
On my 3x18" mounted rollover plow I have been centering the plow to the center of the plow and tractor but my draft does not seem as perfect as I would like. Maybe it has something to do with my front tires setting.
I would appreciate some comments on the plow centering part of this post.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
