Best description I can give you is its a tampered spacer that makes the head of the bolt look like a lug bolt that is used to hold rims onto shell hubs. The nut on the other end of the bolt is the same as a lug nut. The tapered ends fits into matching tapered holes on the side plates of the drive to get a perfect center and give more contact area. Make sure you tighten this bold in the middle of the stroke so the rubber bushing in the sickle head flexes the same in both directions you don't want it to move all in one direction it will wear out quickly. The bolt is a grade 8 and needs to be tight it it comes loose you will have trouble and be replacing parts that now have the holes egg shaped, don't ask me how I know.
