I've got an '84 and an '85. Been parked for 20 years, always think I'll get to them. I had to replace the hub on the '85 too, it was something like $175 for a new one back in the '90s.
'84 had electrical issues. I checked through it for hours, gave up, hauled it to "the guy", he worked on it for a few days. Got a call, he had it done. He said he had many, many hours finding the thing, but only billed me for a few. It worked a couple months, drove it in the yard, shut it off, then it wouldn't start again, just no spark. I was done at that point, had enough in it, even if it was a simple issue (needed new tires at the time anyway).
'85 was running ok when I parked it. It had bad/gone plastic/fenders when it was purchased, and the motor had been gone through at least once, I think bored. It was my favorite with the gearing, etc. Front axle bearing went out. As with many projects, because I have many, I left it go after I couldn't get the brake apart or whatever needed to get the axle out (after about 30 minutes). I moved it to slow use duty, briefly, until it wore through the axle (yes, knew it would happen, of course).
Always liked three wheelers, '85 was better riding, bumps with the front wheel ..."hurt"..., sometimes. Never tipped them over. Also, almost never had working brakes. More than a decade of service out of used atvs, didn't think it was too bad. Looking at UTVs now.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
