Price quote vs what you pay when you get there

This happened to me twice today I was quoted a price on a car part on the phone and when I went to pay for it it was 11.00 more I complained and they lowered the price and at my local tractor dealer I was told a part I ordered was around the price I was finally charged has anyone had this sticker shock and what was the worst case. regards rod
