My dad used to be one of those that hated stopping at the gas station before he had to. Was a waste of time, he thought. Well, he had to go to the station one evening after work when he really didn't feel like it, BUT..... He made it halfway; about 7 miles or so, then heard that interesting little sound that the engine makes when the last drop is drunk. At least it was a busy road and he was able to get a lift home. Then I had to use MY gas to take him back out.
He started filling at 1/4 tank from then on. *lol*
