I have a '49 Case SC which sat abandoned out in a field for the last 12-14 years. I cut it out of the trees that had grown around it, put a new condenser in the magneto, rebuilt the carburetor and replaced one of the four tires that wouldn't hold air.

The tractor started and ran on the second push of the starter (and I had the choke in the wrong position for the first attempt.)

I don't know many machines that could make that claim. 'Nuff said.
