That's a good idea, makes me glad I live on top of a hill. I remember Christmas of 13 well, we had 4 first calf heifers up in the barn at the bottom of the hill. By 10 that morning the creek below the house was out and nearly to the barn, so I drove them up the hill and 2 calved in the orchard that night. Lost a few bales of hay stacked in the barn, and of course the water gap, but I counted myself lucky compared to others. I hope we don't get another beating like that this week, but it sure don't look good for the home team.
