Wow, two 20 yr olds wanting to farm! I thought I was the only one! around here most of the farmers are over 60, the rest are over 80, in the next few years there won't be any farmers left but the big corporate giants. I am 20 and ever since I can remember I have wanted to farm, grow things, my family is not a farming family, all buisiness men, so I am the odd one, My parents are wonderful and moved out here to ND several years ago and bought 80 acres for me to "play with" I have an M tractor and the implements are scrounged from various auctions and neighbors relics from fence rows, things were built well enough back then to still be in good enough shape to be usable now after all of these years, try that with a modern tractor or implement! I am blessed more than many because I have a good market for what I grow, at a reasonable price, so I can make money and live the life I have wanted to, I would be miserable in an office or other "regular" job with a boss etc. so why do it? Anyway, enough rambling, I am encouraged to hear of other young people who aren't running away from the farm, to big money and the city garbage and rat race, God bless you in your efforts!

The main focus of this page is to show how I upgr
