In central Ohio - Rilco was a brand of gothic shaped glued up rafters. My Dad went to look at one before he made drawings for the barn he constructed. We cut 1x8s 8' long in the sawmill from trees cleared by crick and river dredging. Then one edge of the 1x8 was cut curved to match the arch - with a 12" Delta bandsaw. My Dad could cut one or two as each cow got milked - then move the milkers and cut another 1 or 2. We nailed them into rafters - two "thick"- overlapping the 8' in the middle, and then flopping the rafter over and clinching the protruding nails. The last 8' was straight so the peak of the roof would shed rain and snow better.
My brother still has that bandsaw in working condition.
