If it runs well, don't look like it's been butchered, has decent tires, In Arizona I would give him the $2k if it came to that. Tires about $300 to $400. Just depends on what you want and would be more concerned about condition. If it misses then walk away as it will be a headgasket 10 to 1. Look for a white powder in the top of the radaitor along the edges or black floaters in the water. That will tell you if he's used sodium silicate to fix a headgasket leak. Black floaters would be a headgasket leak or a crack somewhere. T_Bone
