Have to agree with GEO & his response string. If..... you haul heavy loads long haul purchase the diesel. For 90% of truck owners who only putt around on short trips & driving them like a car, purchase gas. Cold starts & short trips do less damage & cost less to repair on spark ignition engines. How about the new factory dual fuel natural gas/gasoline vehicles? Warrenty, dealer service & cheap, cheap, cheap fuel. Gov't rebates & tax relief too. Vapour fuels are superior for short haul trips .
