I had this caliper off the truck and disassembled in my vise, because I had to heat the area around the bleeder to get it out. After I got the bleeder out, I could look right down the hole and see daylight at the other end. I didn't realize it before, but at the bottom of the hole there was a little chamfer that looked like it could have been a ball seat. It sure wasn't a bleeder seat, as the conventional bleeder wouldn't seal until I reached down there with a countersink and made a seat for it. I wish I had known that before, because I save steel balls whenever I see one, and I'm sure I have had one that would have worked.
