I dunno how many were sold here. Deutz bought Allis in the 80's I guess it was and sold them about about 10 years later to Agco. They marketed Deutz air cooled diesels here while they were associated with Allis. As far as I know they worked okay but they were a little too different and they never caught on. That's not to say that they weren't good tractors.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
