[quote="CVPost-GordoSD"](quoted from post at 19:34:07 05/24/19) Why own one? I order my fertilizer from the elevator, drive down there a few hours later. and they have a nice spreader filled and ready. Matter of towing it home, hook to tractor, spread and return the unit for refill or not. They don't charge for it, probably figured into all customer sales.[/quote
Nice if that works for you. I also spread lime with mine. I tried for years to get someone to spread lime for me. When the weather was right they were too busy or they couldn't get their trucks up my hills cause it was too wet. Always some excuse. I found it was much better to buy a truckload of lime and spread it when I need it. Pretty much the same story with fertilizer. They can never meet my schedule.
