That truck was owned by a "Hot-Shot-er" Pulled gooseneck flatbeds around hauling freight. He had to put something over 2000 miles A WEEK on that truck. I read the article and the comments about it on the TDR site. Like one guy said, He should have parked the truck after half a million miles because the repair & maintenance expense went thru the roof. New rear wheel seals about every 50,000 miles, brakes, three transmissions if I remember correctly. It ran a LOT of miles but was far from trouble-free. The owner had several trucks and performed all His own service and maintainence. I'm not taking anything away from the little Cummin's motor, but there's a LOT morethan just the engine that can grind You to a halt along the side of the road. Been There... Parked.... waiting....
