I sure was surprised to see this post!! Around here for steep grass slopes nothing but nothing works as well as a Zero turn mower!! BUT, i'm talking about the walk behind kind that pulls a sulky. All the steep slopes around apartments are mowed with them. They mow slopes i wouldn't begin to mow with my 4wd Kubota!! I have used just about every thing to mow grass with over the years, i still have a Kubota tractor, and a Wheel Horse, and I've had many, many more. The only reason i keep the Wheel Horse now, is for the visiting kids to have fun, driveing it around the farm! Bottom line is, NOTHING evens comes close to the Kubota diesel powered "Grass Hopper" Zero turn mower that i have now!! This mower mows faster, and rides better than anything else i've ever used. I like the front mount deck, so i can mow under bushes! The deck is very heavy built, it just chews up 1" saplings like a small brush hog! Every thing is over build and has grease fittings!! Really well built!! I'd NEVER go back to being torchured with a small tractor again! BTW, i have some pretty good slopes to mow too, and it does just fine!! Robert
