Frank: The list below with RPM's is great. I'll add a comment on sound. Remember how a hand held skill saw blade sounds cutting a 2X4? That's about the same "pitch" that you should hear from any blade cutting wood. Large blades have a more solid sound but the pitch is still up there. (I suppose it helps to have a background in music) The RPM list should get ya in right range. Sharpen blade often. R.
