Where I’m currently working they grow around 600 acres of potatoes. We’re using a 6 row Grimmie planter with auto steere and navigation and this year they added row shaping baskets so they won’t have to come back in in a months time to shape the rows. That will save them 2 tractors a weeks work. Others have been doing it that way with pleasing results for a number of years now. We’re almost finished hauling last years crop to the fry plant ,maybe 12 trailer loads left.
