From what I read They are still making Navistars on the same assembly line! Blew my mind; but anything that can help GM's Lousy reliability can only be good!!! My 2005 3500 was in the shop for electrical probably 24 times in the first 100,000 miles. Had 4 new radio/cd players alone, & needs a 5th one for the last 4 years. But... 235,000 miles, & still has the "original" front brakes, does not leak a drop of anything on the floor, & never had an actual transmission problem (other than a short in the steering wheel when new). & STARTS EVERY DAY IN MID WINTER NO MATTER HOW COLD! WHICH IS SOMETHING MY 2017 CUMMINGS DSL WONT DO even when its 11 Degrees above zero. Therefore... CUMMINGS ENGINES ARE OUT OF THE QUESTION!
