That's where he'll hit a snag. Pulling a loaded trailer behind a camper will probly put him way over the registered weight gross for the camper. On my Fed DOT farm exempt dually pickup I can legally gross 54,000 with 295/85/16 tires all around on the truck and trailer both, but with a camper I don't know what they register them as legal gross weight, and you can't get the farm waiver on a motor home anyway. He would have to step up the registration to whatever class his gross weight will become.. Then no matter if the length and weight is legal on the vehicle or not you are still required to have a CDL operators licence. They give you 466 reasons to have a CDL at Portland, Tenn on I-65 at the chicken coup. That includes the no fuel permit, and no apportioned licence plates, and no Single State Registration in the vehicle..
