Mark has good advice about the 15-40. I have had several to-30 tractors over the years and I ran 15-40 except in the winter in Mn I used 10w.
It wouldn't crank over fast enough otherwise. And you still should have a lower radiater hose heater. The fergy is one heck of a tractor. good luck!
