I tried to use the drain plug on the carburetor, and when I first opened it, it gushed gas everywhere, but then it slowed down. I had a hard time catching the gas in a glass jar because of where the drain plug was located, and some of the gas ran along the outside of the carburetor and dripped elsewhere beside directly out of the drain plug. What was a I doing wrong?
I drove the tractor again today, it ran fine on the flats, full throttle in 3rd gear no problem. However, it seemed to sputter more than usual when letting off the clutch to go into 3rd gear when stopped. Also, when climbing up a small hill it almost completely stalled, I had to take it out of gear to prevent it from stalling the engine completely.
