You learned three things. Loosen the plug, get the can ready, then take it out. You also learned that a lot of fuel comes out at first, then less. Also good if the lesser flow will do a pint a minute. not good if dribbly). Three, you learned that your shoes soak up gasoline.
Some Zenith Carbs have an adjusting screw near the bottom front, others have just a plug there. if yours has a t shaped screw, turn it looser CCW looking from the front one quarter turn at a time while testing the engine power. if it does not have the screw, and other remedies are not successful, including cleaning out the gas tank, then you might need to put in one size larger main jet. Don't do that until nothing else works. Jim
