Neighbor buys a herd, 8 open heifers, 1 bull, 18-24 mo. ages, Brangus with good blood lines, grade stock. Bull settles one heifer almost immediately (which calves on time, nice calf) then nothing. No visible injury indications. Owners are not live on folks. Time goes by, like maybe a year. Nothing was done to anything to speak of. Next thing you know, he remembers how to breed and wala, calves everywhere. This cycle running around 11-12 months normal as can be. Who knows.
